Penn Relays

The Penn Relays, officially known as the Pennsylvania Relay Carnival, is one of the oldest held annually at the University of Pennsylvania’s Franklin Field in Philadelphia.

The 129th staging of the Penn Relays will take place on April 24-26, 2025. It features athletes from high schools, colleges, and professional levels, attracting competitors from across the U.S., the Caribbean (especially Jamaica), and around the world with events including sprints, relays, hurdles, distance races, and field events.

Jamaican high schools have a strong presence and passionate following, often competing fiercely against top U.S. schools.
